A 7-Day silent residential meditation retreat with LINDA CLAIR
The retreat will start on Saturday 16th March at 2.30pm and finish on Saturday 23rd March at 1pm. The cost for the retreat is AUD$925 and this includes all teaching, food and accommodation. You need to bring your own bedding (that includes a pillow*).
Kallara Conference Centre is nestled in the scenic foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges, and backs onto native bushland with wildlife and scenic walking tracks.
Upon arrival, either the Retreat Manager or another designated person will give you your room allocation. Arrive by 1pm to allow time to settle in. The first sit is at 2.30pm. You may be on a roster for light duties during retreat. Task rosters and interviews with Linda are posted in the dining hall. Interviews will depend on participant numbers; in larger retreats it may not be possible to include them in the schedule.

AUD$925 (includes all meals, teaching and accommodation). This retreat is residential only.
A deposit of $200 is required to register for this retreat, or you are welcome to pay the full amount on registration.
Lunch is not provided on the 1st day (Saturday 16th March) so please bring your own lunch. You are welcome to eat it in the dining room.
There is shared accommodation and shared bathroom facilities but depending on retreat numbers, sharing a room may not be necessary.
*A light blanket, sheets, one pillow and light doona will be supplied and laundered by Simple Meditation for those who are unable to bring their own bedding. This will cost an additional $50. You can choose this option on the registration form (we need to know if you need bedding before retreat starts).
There will be delicious vegetarian food prepared by Sun Hyland. It may also be gluten free.
We cannot cater for all diets but if you have a food allergy that you think we should know about please tell us in the “Any other comments” section of the registration form.
BRING MEDITATION STOOLS / CUSHIONS
There are a limited number of extra floor mats and meditation cushions (zafus), but if possible, please bring your own mats and meditation cushions, or stools. There are plenty of chairs for those who like to alternate their sitting or prefer not to sit on the floor.
